Dr. Lampert had the opportunity to fulfill a life long dream to perform a song LIVE on stage with Ian Anderson.

As the winner of a classic rock radio station songwriter's contest he was chosen from dozens of other submissions (by Ian Anderson & the WKGR team) to play with Anderson as part of the band's “Rubbing Elbows” U.S. tour at the Carefree Theater in West Palm Beach .

Dr. Lampert's long time friend and fellow optometrist, Dr. Dan Fleming drove down from Vero Beach to join him on stage. Ian Anderson joked that there must be an entire eye doctor orchestra here, only to discover that there was indeed another member of their band who was also an eye doctor.
